How far in advance should I book?
Most events book one to two weeks ahead, depending on the size of the setup — we’ll talk through timing on your call. Same-week dates can often be accommodated for a $100 rush fee, subject to availability.
How much does a luxury picnic cost?
Picnic setups start at $250, group celebrations and soirées at $550, corporate events at $950, and room or suite styling at $150. Guest count, location, food and florals all move the final number, so every booking is quoted individually — with no obligation to book.
What is required to secure my date?
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total cost holds your date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your event — and before that balance is paid, you will receive a visual representation of your setup so you know exactly what to expect.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my event?
If weather makes the setup unsafe or unworkable, you are welcome to rebook on another available date at no additional charge. Your deposit carries over to the new date.
Who handles beach or park permits and reservations?
Either of us can. Gradiz Atelier is happy to handle permits and venue reservations on your behalf — the permit or pavilion fee is added to your invoice along with a $25 processing fee. If you prefer to secure the permit yourself, you skip the processing fee entirely.
What is non-refundable?
Three things: the 50% deposit, the $25 permit processing fee if we handle your reservation, and any beach or park permit or reservation fee itself — unless the venue reimburses it.
What is your cancellation policy?
More than 7 days before your date, you may reschedule once to any available date within 90 days and your deposit carries over. Within 7 days, the 50% deposit is not refunded and rescheduling depends on availability. The full balance is due 48 hours before your event, and by then you will have received a visual representation of your setup, so you know exactly what you are getting before the balance is paid.
Do you handle cleanup?
Yes. Styling, setup and clearing away our own area are included in every booking — we leave the space as we found it. If you would like us to clear a wider area beyond our setup, we can, for a fee based on how much cleanup is involved. Just mention it when you inquire.
Can I order flowers without booking a picnic?
Yes. Bouquets are available on their own in 25 to 150-count sizes, starting at $55, and each one comes with a custom banner. We also build gift bouquets from $80 — fresh florals arranged around items you provide, such as makeup, candy or snacks, with balloons optional. Delivery is quoted separately based on your location.
Do you accommodate vegan and gluten-free guests?
Yes. Both the savory and sweet boards can be built vegan, gluten-free, or both. Note the dietary needs in your inquiry and they will be reflected in your menu and your quote.
Do you style corporate events?
Yes. Gradiz Atelier plans and styles client appreciation events, team gatherings and brand activations, including food and beverage stations, statement florals and branded signage. Corporate bookings start at $950.
